RDA attracts $251m in September

Oct 09, 2026 (MLN): Total inflows into Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) during September, 2026 stood at USD 251 million, bringing the total cumulative inflows into RDA to USD 14,157 million.

Compared to the previous month's inflow of USD 259.0, September showed an decrease of USD 8 million.

However, according to data released by the SBP, amount repatriated and locally utilized during the month was USD 188 million showing that the Net Repatriable Liability of RDA increased by USD 63 million in September.

Amount repatriated during the month was USD 16 million while USD 170 million was utilized locally.

Total cumulative repatriation and local utilization stood at USD 11,084 million out of which USD 2,146 million has been repatriated while locally utilized amount was USD 8,937 million making the Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) USD 3,073 million or 21.71% of Total RDA.

Breakup of the NRL shows USD 740 million was still invested in Conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPC), USD 1,375 million was in Islamic NPC, Equity investment stood at USD 153 million, Balances in Accounts was USD 725 million while Other Liabilities stood at USD 80 million.

Total amount received during the current financial year was USD 792 million compared to USD 545 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Total repatriation and local utilization during the current financial year was USD 556 million compared to USD 423 million in the corresponding period last year.

During the month of September, 9,458 new accounts were opened taking the total number of accounts to 975,602.0.

The highest monthly inflow into RDA was recorded in April, 2026 during which inflows of USD 321 million were received.

The highest monthly repatriation and local utilization from RDA was recorded in July, 2022 during which NRL of RDA reduced by USD 330 million.
