RDA attracts $282m in July

Aug 10, 2026 (MLN): Total inflows into Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) during July, 2026 stood at USD 282 million, bringing the total cumulative inflows into RDA to USD 13,647 million.

Compared to the previous month's inflow of USD 306.0, July showed an decrease of USD 24 million.

However, according to data released by the SBP, amount repatriated and locally utilized during the month was USD 193 million showing that the Net Repatriable Liability of RDA increased by USD 89 million in July.

Amount repatriated during the month was USD 25 million while USD 168 million was utilized locally.

Total cumulative repatriation and local utilization stood at USD 10,721 million out of which USD 2,118 million has been repatriated while locally utilized amount was USD 8,603 million making the Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) USD 2,926 million or 21.44% of Total RDA.

Breakup of the NRL shows USD 684 million was still invested in Conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPC), USD 1,316 million was in Islamic NPC, Equity investment stood at USD 151 million, Balances in Accounts was USD 699 million while Other Liabilities stood at USD 76 million.

Total amount received during the current financial year was USD 282 million compared to USD 185 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.

During the month of July, 10,589 new accounts were opened taking the total number of accounts to 956,790.0.

The highest monthly inflow into RDA was recorded in April, 2026 during which inflows of USD 321 million were received.

The highest monthly repatriation and local utilization from RDA was recorded in July, 2022 during which NRL of RDA reduced by USD 330 million.
