Pakistan's Forex Reserves Increase by USD 57.60 Million

Sep 25, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by USD 57.60 Million or 0.29% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 19,793.30 Million on Sep 19, 2025.

According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves increased by USD 22.30 Million .

While net reserves held by Commercial banks increased by USD 35.30 Million during the week.

The State Bank of Pakistan also released monthly data which shows its reserves having decreased by 4.90 million to USD 14.3195 billion in August 2025 from 14.3244 billion a month ago.

Compared to USD 9.4369 billion from August 2024, SBP's reserves have increased by 4,882.60 million or 51.74 percent.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at 4.7576 billion compared to 4.6520 billion from a month ago showing an increase of USD 105.60 million. Compared to 4.7373 from a year ago, reserves of Banks have increased by USD 20.30 million.

Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country at the end of August 2025 stood at USD 19.0771 billion compared to 18.9764 billion from the previous month showing a net increase of USD 100.70 million. Compared to the corresponding month from last year, Pakistan's total reserves increased by USD 4,902.90 million or 34.59 percent.
