Pakistan firms target Gulf buyers at Big 5 Global 2025

November 25, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan has brought nine homegrown building materials and construction-sector companies to Big 5 Global 2025 in Dubai, seeking to expand the country’s footprint in the Gulf’s fast-growing real estate and infrastructure market, according to the press release. 

The exhibitors, participating under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), are offering electric cables, lighting solutions, PVC pipes, U-PVC windows and doors, aluminium structures, and laminated boards to buyers from the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

Hussain Muhammad, Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, opened the Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre, noting that the event gives firms access to one of the largest construction and urban-development trade platforms in the region.

The Big 5 Global exhibition, known for showcasing supply-chain technologies, urban planning tools and facilities-management solutions, draws thousands of industry professionals each year.

Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan said the UAE remains a key market for Pakistani exporters seeking to diversify beyond traditional goods.

He noted that rising demand for construction inputs, driven by ongoing real estate and infrastructure development across the Gulf, is creating new opportunities for Pakistani businesses.
