Pakistan, UAE vow to strengthen economic cooperation

June 25, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed their commitment to deepening economic ties during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi.

The two sides discussed enhancing development cooperation, expanding ADFD's support for key infrastructure and energy projects in Pakistan, and exploring new avenues for sustainable investment, as per the press release issued.

On behalf of the President of Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister also presented the award of Hilal-e-Quaid-e-Azam to Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi in acknowledgment of his exceptional contributions to the promotion of Pakistan-UAE cooperation.

Both sides emphasized promoting shared growth and prosperity through continued collaboration.
