November 26, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Wednesday's trading session at 163,188.53, showing an increase of 1,496.04 points or 0.93%.

The index traded in a range of 2,832.39 points showing an intraday high of 163,397.24 (+1,704.75) and a low of 160,564.85 (-1,127.64) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 234.70 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 50 closed up, 48 closed down, while 2 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were HUMNL (+9.94%), NBP (+3.48%), FFC (+3.20%), CHCC (+3.06%), and FATIMA (+2.56%).

On the other hand, top losers were PSEL (-5.89%), MEHT (-4.32%), PGLC (-2.95%), PKGS (-2.86%), and PKGP (-2.63%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were FFC (+532.21pts), MEBL (+160.37pts), HBL (+145.88pts), NBP (+126.40pts), and OGDC (+92.73pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were PSEL (-84.19pts), BAFL (-24.41pts), ATRL (-22.37pts), PKGS (-19.43pts), and HINOON (-16.72pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+576.59pts), Fertilizer (+563.05pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+151.52pts), Cement (+143.50pts), and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+91.24pts).

While the index was let down by Miscellaneous (-88.22pts), Refinery (-24.24pts), Paper, Board & Packaging (-19.43pts), Glass & Ceramics (-9.47pts), and Automobile Assembler (-8.64pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 51,265.83 with a net gain of 469.99 points or 0.93%.

Total market volume was 636.41 million shares compared to 590.54m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs30.92 billion showing an increase of Rs8.77bn.

There were 319,562 trades reported in 472 companies with 135 closing up, 289 closing down, and 48 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 37,561 points or 29.90% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 48,062 points or 41.75% so far this calendar year.
