PSX Closing Bell: Green Shoots Emerge

November 14, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Friday's trading session at 161,935.19, showing an increase of 1,277.70 points or 0.80%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 162,118.75 (+1,461.26) and a low of 160,791.78 (+134.29) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 239.78 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 67 closed up, 32 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were KTML (+10.01%), PIOC (+10.00%), MLCF (+6.70%), PTC (+5.14%), and PSEL (+4.72%).

On the other hand, top losers were CHCC (-3.03%), BNWM (-2.76%), AIRLINK (-2.58%), UPFL (-1.53%), and FCCL (-1.39%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were HBL (+187.81pts), UBL (+122.37pts), MLCF (+106.59pts), OGDC (+93.81pts), and PPL (+93.67pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were LUCK (-52.23pts), CHCC (-37.37pts), FCCL (-22.22pts), AIRLINK (-18.49pts), and EFERT (-17.80pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+462.23pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+281.82pts), Cement (+97.72pts), Power Generation & Distribution (+93.50pts), and Miscellaneous (+72.91pts).

While the index was let down by Automobile Parts & Accessories (-6.48pts), Fertilizer (-3.08pts), Property (-1.17pts), Tobacco (-1.02pts), and Paper, Board & Packaging (-0.72pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,882.96 with a net gain of 401.48 points or 0.80%.

Total market volume was 673.45 million shares compared to 797.18m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs34.65 billion showing a decrease of Rs0.48bn.

There were 322,774 trades reported in 479 companies with 275 closing up, 155 closing down, and 49 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 36,308 points or 28.90% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 46,808 points or 40.66% so far this calendar year.
