PM appoints Khalid Mansoor as Special Assistant on CPEC Affairs

August 4, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Khalid Mansoor as his Special Assistant on CPEC Affairs.

According to a notification issued by Prime Minister Office, his appointment will be in honorary capacity.

He has been appointed after resignation of Asim Saleem Bajwa . Meanwhile, in a tweet, Planning Minister Asad Umar said that vast corporate experience of Khalid Mansoor with extensive work with Chinese companies and direct involvement in leading some of the biggest CPEC projects makes him an ideal person to lead the next phase of CPEC.
