Meezan Bank elevates Dr. Syed Amir Ali to President, CEO

December 30, 2025 (MLN): Meezan Bank Limited (PSX:MEBL) has entered a new phase of leadership as Dr. Syed Amir Ali formally assumes charge as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 30, 2025.

Dr. Amir Ali brings with him more than 14 years of association with Meezan Bank, during which he has held several senior leadership positions.

His previous roles include Group Head – Corporate & Investment Banking and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, where he played a key role in shaping the bank’s strategic direction and growth.

His experience is expected to further strengthen Meezan Bank’s position as Pakistan’s leading Islamic financial institution.

The bank expressed optimism that under his leadership, Meezan Bank will continue to expand its reach, enhance customer value, and uphold its commitment to Shariah-compliant banking while pursuing sustainable growth.
