Japanese delegation shows interest to investment in Pakistan's technology and food sector

August 12, 2022 (MLN): A Japanese business delegation has shown keen interest in investment in IT, food processing, education and technology sectors in Pakistan, the Board of Investment (BoI) tweeted today.

According to details, the Japanese business delegation called on Federal Minister for Investment and Special Initiative Chaudhry Salik Hussain at BoI today.

The delegation showed keen interest in investment in IT, food processing, education and technology sectors in Pakistan.

The Federal Minister and Secretary BoI, Mr Asad Rehman Gilani highlighted various investment opportunities, details of key projects available for investments, investment regime in the discussed sectors and incentives available in Special Economic Zones.

They were assured of BoI’s support for facilitation & execution of their investment plans in Pak. The delegation appreciated the BoI team for sharing comprehensive information & looked forward to working in close collaboration.
