Ittehad Chemicals successfully achieves financial close of LABSA / SLES Plant

March 10, 2021 (MLN): Ittehad Chemicals Limited (ICL) has successfully achieved the financial close of LABSA / SLES Plant within the time frame and a Letter of Credit has been established to import the Plant and Machinery.

The Company was in the process of Capacity expansion of LABSA / SLES Plant by 46,000 MTs per annum. This is in addition to the existing LABSA / SLES Plant capacity i.e. 24,000 MTs per annum.

The total capacity of LABSA / SLES Plant after expansion will be 70,000 MTs per annum.

According to the company’s notice issued to PSX, the project is likely to be commissioned during the third quarter of FY 2021-22.

The project will make a further contribution towards the Company's profitability and testifies the Management's commitment to enhance its shareholders' value.
