Dawood Equities introduces Shariah-compliant brokerage window

June 04, 2026 (MLN): Dawood Equities Limited (DEL) has obtained a Shariah opinion from Al Hilal Shariah Advisors (Pvt.) Limited for the establishment of its Islamic Brokerage Window.

Al Hilal Shariah Advisors has been engaged to guide and support DEL through the setup process, covering Shariah requirements, implementation oversight, and ongoing compliance.

On the basis of this opinion, DEL applied to the regulator for approval to commence Islamic Brokerage Window operations.

Al Hilal Shariah Advisors, upon reviewing DEL's Islamic Brokerage Window including its business model, operational framework, trading and settlement processes, and governance arrangements concluded that the window is complying with Islamic financial principles and Shariah guidelines.

DEL has accordingly been granted the status of a Shariah compliant brokerage house in respect of its Islamic Brokerage Window.
