Govt accords priority to tap IT sector's potential: Ishaq Dar

October 24, 2022: Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday said that the government accords priority attention to the IT sector to tap its true potential as it has immense potential for growth and could play a significant role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.

While chairing the meeting, the minister directed the concerned authorities to take steps for the facilitation of the IT sector and to remove bottlenecks in order to encourage its exports.

The meeting discussed issues related to the IT sector’s declining export and measures to bring it back to a growth trajectory.
