Gold slips by Rs800 to stand at Rs109,300 per tola

June 24, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices edged lower on Thursday as the price of 24 karat per tola gold observed a decline of Rs800 and was traded at Rs109,300 against its yesterday’s sale at Rs110,100.

Similarly, the price of 10 gram 24 karat gold dropped by Rs686 and was traded at Rs93,707 against its previous close at Rs94,393 whereas ten gram 22 Karat gold valued at Rs85,898, as per data revealed by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The prices of 24 karat per tola and 10gm silver remained stagnant at Rs1,420 and Rs1,217.42 respectively.

In the international market, yellow metal’s appeal was slightly dented by $2 and traded at $1,783 per ounce on the back of stable dollar while investors awaited US economic data due this week in order to gauge inflationary pressures. Meanwhile, the silver was traded at $26.03 an ounce.
