Gold remains static at Rs110,000 per tola

August 25, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices on Wednesday closed on dull buying as the price of 24 karat per tola gold and 10-gram of gold witnessed no change and were traded at Rs110,000 per tola and Rs94,307 respectively in the local market.

On a similar note, the price of silver also remained static as 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver were available at Rs 1,430 per tola and Rs 1,226 respectively, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Group reported.

On the contrary, in the international market, yellow metal prices edged lower today after a run-up over the past few sessions as the dollar inched higher. Gold prices weakened by $11 and were traded at $1,794 per ounce, against its sale at $1,806 an ounce yesterday. While silver was valued at 23.80 an ounce.
