Gold prices jump by Rs 2,900 per tola on Thursday

March 11, 2021 (MLN): The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs 2,900 on Thursday and was sold at Rs 106,700 against the sale price of Rs 103,800 reported on the previous day.

According to Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 2,486 and was traded at Rs 91,478 against the sale price of Rs 88,992 reported yesterday, while that of ten-gram 22 karat gold increased from Rs 81,576 to Rs 83,855.

The price of per tola silver increased by Rs 50 and was traded at Rs 1,370 against its sale at Rs 1,320, whereas that of 10-gram silver increased by Rs 42.87 and was traded at Rs 1,174.55 against Rs 1,131.68.

The gold price in the international market witnessed an increase of $24 and was sold at $1,736 against its sale at $1,712 yesterday, the association added.
