Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs500 per tola

August 12, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs358,300 per tola, down Rs500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs307,184 after a decline of Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs281,595 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs4,013 per tola and Rs3,440 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,349 an ounce, up $0.6 or 0.02% from the previous session.

Gold prices nudged higher on Tuesday, recovering slightly from a sharp decline in the previous session, as investors awaited U.S. inflation data for further insight into the Federal Reserve's rate-cut trajectory.
