Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,500 per tola

August 05, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs358,000 per tola, down Rs1,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs306,927 after a decline of Rs1,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs281,359 per 10-gram.

 

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,971 per tola (+Rs18) and Rs3,404 per 10-gram (+Rs15).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,360 an ounce, down $17.5 or 0.52% from the previous session.

Gold slipped on Tuesday due to an uptick in the dollar, though prices remained near a two-week high on growing expectations of a U.S. rate cut in September.
