FM stresses long-term planning for sustainable, all-inclusive economic growth

July 5, 2021: Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin has stressed the importance of long-term planning for achieving sustainable and all-inclusive economic growth.

Chairing a meeting of the Economic Advisory Council in Islamabad, he said drawing up concrete proposals for sustainable economic growth through comprehensive and seamless planning across major sectors is the main responsibility of Economic Advisory Council.

Shaukat Tarin said that the underlying rationale is to secure the future of coming generations in the country.

The sub-groups gave their presentations on topics namely State-Owned Enterprises and Privatization, Energy, Domestic Commerce and Price Stability.
