ECC re-validates Rs352bn for COVID-related expenditures

July 29, 2021: The Economic Coordination Committee has re-validated Rs352 billion for meeting COVID-related expenditures, including procurement of vaccine to immunize at least 85 million people by the end of this year.

A decision to this effect was taken at ECC meeting, which held in Islamabad on Wednesday with Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin in the chair.

The revalidation was made for the current fiscal year to meet COVID-related expenditures including procurement of vaccine during the ongoing fourth wave of the pandemic.
