ECC allows imports of sugar and yarn from India

March 31, 2021 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has allowed importing cotton, cotton yarn and sugar from India.
The ECC, which met in Islamabad on Wednesday with Finance Minister, Hammad Azhar, in the chair, also approved the import of 500,000 tons of sugar from India through the Trading Corporation of Pakistan and commercial importers.
