Customs seizes 275,000 litres of smuggled diesel

December 12, 2025 (MLN): Customs Enforcement Quetta has seized 275,000 litres of smuggled diesel and two prime movers worth a combined Rs. 190 million in two coordinated operations carried out in and around the city.

A total of 11 diesel-laden vehicles were intercepted during the raids.

Enforcement teams acted on intelligence provided by the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta and conducted targeted raids with support from other law enforcement agencies.

The seized diesel and vehicles have been placed in custody, and legal proceedings, according to the press release.

The operations are part of the Collectorate’s ongoing enforcement drive aimed at curbing smuggling and disrupting illegal trade networks in the region.

The Federal Board of Revenue commended the Quetta Enforcement team for the seizures and reiterated its commitment to countering smuggling and unlawful economic activity.
