Bannu Woollen Mills commissions 1.0 MW on-grid solar power plant

December 02, 2025 (MLN): Bannu Woollen Mills Limited (PSX: BNWM) has successfully commissioned a 1.0 MW on-grid solar power plant at its manufacturing site on D.I. Khan Road, Bannu.

The plant is now fully operational, supplying clean energy directly to the company’s manufacturing operations, according to the Company's filing on PSX revealed today.

This initiative is part of BNWM’s broader strategy to reduce reliance on grid electricity, lower energy costs, and minimize its carbon footprint (Scope-2 emissions).

The company highlighted that the solar installation emphasised its long-term commitment to sustainable operations and environmental responsibility.

In today's trading session, BNWM closed at Rs67.69, up Rs6.11 (9.92%) day-on-day (DoD).
