July 02, 2026 (MLN): Azgard Nine Limited (PSX:ANL) has extended the deadline for the sale of its Muzaffargarh Unit till December 31, 2026, under the Creditors' Scheme of Arrangement, following an order from the Lahore High Court permitting Agent Banks to take action against the bidder, including termination of the bid and inviting fresh bids.

The company stated that the Honourable Lahore High Court had conveyed that Agent Banks may take whatever action is available to them under law against the bidder, including termination of the bid and the invitation of fresh bids.

In view of the situation, the Agent Banks had no option but to further extend the deadline under the Scheme for the sale of the Muzaffargarh Unit.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
