September 24, 2026 (MLN): An Upgrade Agreement has been executed between Attock Refinery Limited (PSX: ATRL) and Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited, marking a significant milestone in the company's efforts to modernise and upgrade its existing refinery infrastructure.

Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited was mandated and nominated by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) under the Pakistan Oil Refining Policy for Upgradation of Existing/Brownfield Refineries, 2023 (amended in February 2024 and August 2026).

The upgrade is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving product quality and producing Euro-V standard fuels. The move is in line with the company's commitment towards sustainable development and upgradation, and is expected to contribute towards a more sustainable and secure energy future for Pakistan.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
