Zafar Hejazi, Chairman SECP visits PSX

Zafar Hejazi, Chairman, Securities Exchange Commission visited Pakistan Stock Exchange and SECP office in Karachi and hold meeting with the senior stock brokers, officials of PSX and gave assurance that all possible support would be provided to deepen the capital market.

Zafar Hejazi said we would strengthen the partnership between PSX and SECP and a road map would be designed to promote investment in the capital market.

Measures would be taken to broaden the investor base and variety of products would be introduced to attract small investors.

Zafar Hejazi is under scrutiny for his alleged role in the manipulations of documents. He is alleged to have attempted to back stamp documents in an effort to support Nawaz Sharif in his JIT proceedings.
