September 8, 2019 (MLN): The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) gained 53 paisa against the greenback this week which was concluded at PKR 156.32 per US dollar (USD) against last week’s closing quote of PKR 156.86 per USD.

This is the third consecutive week in which PKR has appreciated against the dollar. During this time, the currency has gained Rs.2.3 per dollar or 1.5%.

The dollar marked a 3 month low this week as the last time it was recorded this low against PKR was on June 14, 2019, when it was quoted at Rs.155.84 per USD.
