UK, Pakistan sign MOU to boost academic development

May 25, 2024 (MLN): The Northern Consortium of UK Universities has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Federal Education Pakistan to explore collaborative opportunities for teacher training and academic development.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in London yesterday, with Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chief Executive, NCUK Stuart Smith and others in the presence.   

The MoU will strengthen the relationship between NCUK and Inter Boards Coordination Commission of Pakistan for the development of new centers in Pakistan to improve education.

It will also create unparalleled access for Pakistani students to leading Universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada, including placement opportunities at World Top 100 universities. 

Speaking on the occasion, the Education Minister said Pakistan looks forward to build on this relationship and explore education opportunities with this high-quality educational provider in the UK.
