Turkish delegation visits CDC House

April 19, 2019: A delegation of Turkish Consulate General visited the Central Depository Company (CDC) House on Friday. Representatives of the leading Pakistani Companies and Turkish businesses in Pakistan attended this event, said a CDC press release on Friday.

Chairman CDC Board of Directors, Moin M.Fudda and Chief Executive Officer of CDC, Badiuddin Akber welcomed the delegation.     

Moin M. Fudda highlighted the long and strong friendly relations between Turkey and Pakistan, andstressed the need for increasing economic cooperation, bilateral trade and partnership in social sector.

Badiuddin Akber gave a presentation on the achievements of CDC and its key role in the development of Pakistan’s capital market.    

He also spoke about the collaboration between MKK Turkey and CDC Pakistan-- the securities depositories of both the countries.

Turkish Consul General Tolga Uçak briefed about Central Depository Company of Turkey, Turkish economic situation particularly macroeconomics, growth rate and investment.

He said that Turkish exports to the world were increasing on yearly basis, and the bilateral trade between Turkey and Pakistan was on the rise.

Ucak also briefed the participants about banking and finance sector of Turkey and Turkish official development assistance to the world.

He talked about overall tourism figures of Turkey and bilateral tourism relation between Turkey and Pakistan.
