Turkey’s inflation shows down to 84.39% in November

December 5, 2022 (MLN): The inflation rate in Turkey in November 2022 decreased to 84.39% as compared to 85.51 in October 2022, as per the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) revealed on Monday.
Accordingly, Turkey’s monthly inflation rate was at 2.88% in November, down from 3.54% in October.
As per the TURKSTAT, communication with 35.87% was the main group that indicated the lowest annual increase followed by clothing and footwear with -1.42% was the main group that indicated the lowest monthly increase.
while transportation with 107.03% was the main group where the highest annual increase was realized.
Food, non-alcoholic beverage, and home furniture increased to 102.55% and 92.83%, respectively, in November.
Moreover, the country's annual inflation rate has posted the first decline since May 2021.
