Trump’s $TRUMP wallet launches with Magic Eden

June 04, 2025 (MLN): President Donald Trump’s team has partnered with Magic Eden, a prominent non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, to launch an official $TRUMP-branded cryptocurrency wallet.

Named the $TRUMP Wallet, the product will feature the president’s name and likeness and will support trading of $TRUMP and other digital assets, including bitcoin.

The wallet’s waitlist opened Tuesday at TrumpWallet.com, with a broader launch planned for later this summer, according to a Magic Eden spokesperson.

Despite the announcement, Eric Trump, who leads several of his father’s crypto ventures, denied any knowledge of the project on social media, stating, “I run @Trump and I know nothing about this project!” The official TrumpMeme X account reposted Magic Eden’s wallet announcement.

Magic Eden did not provide additional comments when CNBC sought clarification regarding Eric Trump’s denial and referred to the TrumpMeme X repost.

CNBC also reached out to the $TRUMP token team about partnership terms, revenue-sharing, and KYC requirements but did not receive immediate responses, as CNBC reported.

Promoted as “the first and only crypto wallet for true Trump fans,” the $TRUMP Wallet offers users a chance to share in $1 million in $TRUMP rewards through a gamified promotion where users climb a waitlist by signing up and referring friends.

This effort marks the latest attempt to boost inflows into Trump-affiliated crypto ventures, further expanding the president’s footprint in the digital asset industry.

The Trump family’s crypto portfolio already includes NFTs, a stablecoin, a decentralized finance platform with its own virtual token, and meme coins named after the president and the First Lady.

They also have plans for crypto exchange-traded funds through Truth Social’s financial arm, TruthFi.

Magic Eden raised over $150 million from investors such as Paradigm, Greylock, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sequoia between March and June 2022.

The company, whose CEO attended a recent Trump fundraiser, is reportedly building the $TRUMP Wallet on top of Slingshot Finance, a self-custodial trading app it acquired in April.

Slingshot supports meme tokens like BONK and FARTCOIN and does not directly collect user identity data, instead relying on MoonPay, its fiat on-ramp provider, for identity checks.

It remains unclear whether the $TRUMP Wallet will require separate KYC procedures or how revenue and responsibilities will be shared between Magic Eden and Trump-affiliated entities.
