April 23, 2025 (MLN): Despite a 6.2% drop in net sales, Treet Battery Limited (PSX: TBL) has managed to reduce its net loss by 36% YoY to Rs212 million compared to a loss of Rs331m during the nine-month period ending March 2025, as per its latest financial disclosure.

Loss per share improved to Rs0.24 from Rs0.38.

Sales for the period clocked in at Rs5.63bn, down from Rs6bn in the same period last year. However, the cost of sales also declined by 8%, improving gross margins slightly.

The company posted a gross profit of Rs1.2bn, up 0.8% from last year.

Operating expenses rose by over 8% to Rs691m, which dragged operating profit down by nearly 8% to Rs512m.

On the brighter side, finance costs saw a 15% drop, declining to Rs764m, while other income rose sharply by 48% to Rs113m.
