Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway: Govt pledges progress in next 6 months

June 07, 2024 (MLN): The Senate was informed that the government is undertaking efforts to construct the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway, according to the Information Ministry.

Responding to a calling attention notice in the house today, Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada expressed confidence that progress on the project is expected to be visible in the next six months.

He said that the government wants to complete the project at the earliest in partnership mode.

Moreover, talks with China and other friendly countries are also taking place in this regard.

The house has now been adjourned to meet again on Monday at 5:00pm.
