State Bank's Forex Reserves Decrease Despite receiving USD 500 Million from Qatar

Jul 04, 2019 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by USD 91.70 Million or 0.64% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 14,443.00 Million on Jun 28, 2019.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) it received inflow of US$500 million from Qatar as placement of funds. After taking into account outflows relating to external debt and other official payments, SBP reserves decreased by US$9 million during the week.
