Srilanka desires to expand cooperation in trade, ICT

January 26, 2022 (MLN): Minister of Trade of Sri Lanka, Dr Bandula Gunawardhana expressed a keen desire to expand cooperation with Pakistan in diverse areas of trade and ICT during his visit to the Ministry of Commerce, said a press release issued today.
While welcoming Dr Gunawardhana, Mr Abdul Razzak Dawood, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Trade and Investment recalled the successful trade and investment conference held earlier last year in Colombo and showed his satisfaction over the continued engagement of business communities of both friendly countries.
Both sides hope that these engagements would further strengthen the bilateral trade relations through leveraging the Pakistan-Sri Lanka FTA.
