SPL halts production for two weeks due to raw material shortage

July 07, 2023 (MLN): Sitara Peroxide Limited (PSX: SPL) has decided to temporarily stop the production activities of the company for two weeks due to the non-availability of raw materials/ chemicals, the company’s latest filing on PSX revealed.
“The management is hopeful that the current situation will improve, enabling the company to resume its production activities after two weeks,” the notice reads.
SPL’S principal activity is the manufacturing and sale of hydrogen peroxide.
While writing this, the share of the company is trading at Rs12.80, down by Rs0.17 or 1.31% on the day.
