SECP revokes licenses of 3 brokers, trading terminals affected

February 12, 2024 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has canceled the licenses of three brokers, resulting in the deactivation or suspension of their trading terminals.

According to a notice released by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today, Xpert Securities Ltd., CAMCO (Pvt.) Ltd., and Enrichers Securities (Pvt.) Ltd. have lost their trading terminals.

The cancellation of Xpert Securities Limited's license was prompted by the firm's application for voluntary surrender of the TRE Certificate, and the firm not applying for the renewal of the broker license.

Accordingly, the trading terminals were deactivated due to voluntary surrender.

Additionally, the trading terminals of CAMCO (Private) Limited and Enrichers Securities (Private) were suspended due to regulatory violations and not applying for the renewal of their broker licenses.
