RLNG slashed by over 8% for SNGPL, SSGC

May 27, 2024 (MLN): Regassified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for July 2024 have been slashed by up to 8.44% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 8.5% for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) respectively.

As per the latest update by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new prices for SNGPL for transmission and distribution are $12.6862/MMBtu and $13.3902/MMBtu, respectively for July.

In comparison with the prices of June 2024, the overall decrease in terms of amount for SNGPL transmission is $0.8916/MMBtu, while for distribution it stands at $1.2347/MMBtu.

Furthermore, the updated prices for SSGC are $11.5281/MMBtu for transmission and $13.1567/MMBtu for distribution purpose.

Compared to the prices in June 2024, there has been an overall drop of $0.8209/MMBtu for SSGC transmission and $1.2226/MMBtu for distribution.

The decision to reduce prices is is mainly due to decrease in DES price and in accordance with the Policy Guidelines of the Federal Government.
