PTI delegation concludes 7-day visit to China

November 26, 2018: The twenty-member delegation of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Monday proceed for Islamabad after a seven-day visit to China.

The delegation led by Central Secretary General of PTI Arshad Daad had arrived in the Chinese capital on November 19, on the invitation of Communist Party of China (CPC).

The delegation included central and provincial leadership from Northern Punjab Ataullah Shadikhel and Umer Cheema while party leader Aizaz Asif and PTI Youth Wing president Chaudhry Arslan represented youth.

During the visit, the leadership of PTI delegation and the international department of the CPC held bilateral meetings.

The delegation was briefed on China’s political history and inter-departmental arrangements.

The Chinese government and the Communist Party’s officials also briefed the members of delegation about the measures taken in China to curb corrupt practices and the steps to bring back corrupt people who escaped abroad after corruption.

The delegation also toured Hangzhou, in Zhejiang Province, China to visit a model village to study measures for the poverty alleviation.
