PTA kicks off Cybersecurity Awareness Week to tackle cyber risks

December 18, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched Cybersecurity Awareness Week today to raise awareness among consumers about cyber threats and to make progress toward the implementation of a cybersecurity strategy.

“Safeguarding our cyber frontiers and ensuring the digital security of our citizens is our prime objective,” Chairman PTA, Hafeez Ur Rahman said.

Additionally, PTA's cyber security strategy for the Telecom Sector is a comprehensive effort to strengthen readiness against potential cyber risks.
