August 12, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has notified all listed companies to pay their Annual Listing Fee (ALF) for the fiscal year 2024-2025 in advance, by September 30.
According to the notice issued by the domestic exchange, the annual listing fee is calculated based on the company's market capitalization.
It further said that failure to pay the annual fee by September 30 shall make the company liable to pay a surcharge of 1.5% per month or part thereof, until payment.
However, if reasonable grounds are adduced for nonpayment or delayed payment of annual fees, the Exchange may reduce or waive the surcharge liability.
Additionally, the notice drew attention to S.R.O. 598(1)/2016, dated June 29, 2016, issued by the SECP, which mandates that listed companies must pay the SECP's Listed Companies Supervisory Fee in addition to the ALF of the Exchange.
In view of the foregoing, all Listed Companies are advised to pay the ALF and Listed Companies Supervisory Fee of SECP for the year 2024-25 to PSX latest by September 30, 2024.
The delay in such payment will require payment of ALF along with a surcharge in accordance with the aforesaid PSX Regulation.
