PSX board approves Go-Live date for New Trading System

May 11, 2023 (MLN): The board of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has officially endorsed the Go-Live date for PSX's highly anticipated New Trading System as Monday, May 15, 2023.

On Wednesday, PSX conducted an awareness session mainly targeting TRECH traders and IT Heads on NTS migration activities.

After the successful completion of the testing phase for the New Trading System covering Broker OMSs, JTT, KiTS, NTT, THIMS, and other ancillary applications, all TRE Certificate Holders/Securities Brokers were informed that PSX is continuing to target Go-Live on the 15th of May 2023.

Prior to Go-Live, as part of migration activities, PSX planned to conduct a conformance readiness exercise.

The scope of this awareness session was to provide a flow of the migration activities at PSX and the expectations from the TRECHs for the migration activities at their end.

This also covered what is to be expected from TRECHs regarding the conformance readiness exercise, and any other matter pertaining New Trading System Go-Live which would add to the comfort of all stakeholders.
