PRL refutes news on Chinese partnership

October 18, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan Refinery Limited (PSX: PRL) has denied reports of entering into a partnership with a Chinese company, stating that the news clipping from October 17, 2024, is not from them, the company's filing on PSX revealed.

PRL clarified that no such commitments have been made.

The company referred to its previous update from May 22, 2024, which mentioned that senior management visited China to meet potential EPC contractors and financial institutions.

While Chinese companies showed interest in collaborating on PRL's project, no formal agreements have been made.

PRL assured that any developments will be shared with the Pakistan Stock Exchange as required.
