Privatization Review Committee Meeting Held

March 11, 2020: Review committee meeting of privatization held today under the chairmanship of Federal Minister/Chairman Privatization Mohammedmian Soomro today in Islamabad. Senior officials of the Ministry attended the meeting.

Federal Minister was briefed about the current status of various entities including RLNG power plants, Services int’l hotel, SME Bank , Nandipur power plant etc. It is pertinent to mention that a kick-off meeting with financial advisors for the privatization of 425-525 MW combine Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) of Nandipur of Northern Power Generation Company Limited (NPGCL).

Federal Minister was briefed that in the kick-off meeting the complete timeline plan for transaction related activities, the required information for due diligence and ultimate completion of the subject transaction was discussed.

Federal Minister was inquired about the development made in the parallel transaction of selected entities and also directed that our unanimous and ultimate focus should be the timely completion of these transaction in a transparent manner for the stable national economy.
