PRIC to switch from insurance to trading, agriculture

July 10, 2023 (MLN): Progressive Insurance Company Limited (PSX: PRIC) unveiled in its progress report that the nature of business will be changed from insurance to trading arid agriculture etc, which was approved in the EOGM, the company’s filing on PSX showed today.

In the progress report for the quarter ended 30 June 2023, the company revealed that this decision was taken due to the political uncertainty and the challenges faced by the insurance industry during the period.

“An application is underway through our consultant to change the nature of business and we hope and pray that it will be done very soon, and approval of SECP will be forthcoming.” It reads.
