PPL pays Rs42bn lease extension bonus for continued Sui Gas Field operations

April 14, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PSX: PPL) has made a payment of Rs42 billion as the Lease Extension Bonus.

This payment is in accordance with the terms of the executed agreements of the Sui Development and Production Lease (D&PL) and the Sui Petroleum Concession Agreement (PCA) with the Federal Government of Pakistan for the continued operations of the Sui Gas Field.

It also follows the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Government of Balochistan in connection with the aforementioned arrangements.

The Lease Extension Bonus has been paid to the Government of Pakistan for onward transmission to the Government of Balochistan.
