PMEX Commodity Index up by 13 points

May 05, 2020: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,650, up by only 13 points. The traded value of Metals, Energy, and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.647 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,424.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.741 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 585.752 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 303.673 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 239.402 million), Silver (PKR 215.332 million), SP500 (PKR 146.999 million), Copper (PKR 139.879 million), Natural Gas (PKR 120.108 million), Platinum (PKR 87.641 million) and DJ (PKR 67.358 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 8.195 million, one lot of Soybean amounting to PKR 6.674 million, and one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.437 million were traded.
