PM recommends, President sanctions new Federal Ministers

February 28, 2025 (MLN): In a significant political development, the Government of Pakistan has revealed the appointment of several parliamentarians as Federal Ministers and Ministers of State.

The appointments were made by the President of Pakistan on the advice of the Prime Minister under Article 92 of the Constitution.

According to the official notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, the following individuals have been appointed as Federal Ministers:

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary
Mian Pervez Malik
Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi
Mr. Khalid Hussain Magsi
Mr. Muhammad Mueen Wattoo
Ms. Shaista Pervaiz Malik
Mr. Muhammad Raza Hayat Harraj
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf
Mr. Shaza Fatima Khawaja
Rana Mubashar Iqbal
Syed Mustafa Kamal

Additionally, the President has appointed the following individuals as Ministers of State:

Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan
Dr. Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju
Mr. Aqeel Malik
Mr. Rai Murtaza Kharal
Mr. Zaka Aslam
Mr. Sadaqat Ali Saghir
Mr. Mohammad Awan Sajjan
Mr. Wajihullah Khan

The newly appointed Ministers and Ministers of State were officially sworn in today, 27th February 2025.

Furthermore, the notification confirms that Mian Pervez Malik and Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja will continue to serve as Federal Ministers.
