PM declares 3-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday

March 19, 2025 (MLN): The Prime Minister of Pakistan has declared a three-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, from March 31 to April 2, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday), according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on March 19, 2025.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a significant religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide, marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal.

The announcement was made in continuation of the Cabinet Division’s circular regarding public and optional holidays for the year 2025.
