December 01, 2024 (MLN): The federal government has raised the price of petrol by Rs3.72 per litre to Rs252.1 according to a notification issued by Finance Division today.

Additionally, the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs3.29 per litre to Rs258.43.

Conversely, the rates of Kerosene (SKO) and Light Diesel Oil has been reduced by Rs0.62 and 0.48 per litre, respectively.

The new prices are effective from December 01, 2024.

"The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority has worked out the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight based on the price trends in the international market during the last two weeks," reads the notification.

It has accordingly decided the prices of the petroleum products for the fortnight.

To recall, in the last fortnight, the government kept the prices of petrol and diesel unchanged, in view of the international rates.
